The council says the free two-show event will run on 28 and 29 November, with ticket releases scheduled for 26 and 27 October.

The Mayor’s Christmas Carols are scheduled to return to HOTA for their 15th year, with shows on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November 2026. City of Gold Coast announced details on 23 October.
Shows run from 6pm to 8.30pm, with gates opening at 4pm at HOTA, 135 Bundall Road, Surfers Paradise. Announced performers include Samantha Jade, Havana Brown and the Royal Australian Navy Band Queensland, alongside the Looney Tunes Christmas Show and a fireworks finale.
Outdoor Stage admission is free but ticketed, with limited allocations released at 9am on 26 October and 6pm on 27 October. Those dates do not guarantee remaining availability. HOTA Parklands will screen the shows for visitors without stage tickets, with food trucks and free Ferris wheel rides announced. Auslan interpreters will support the event. Council says four hours of free parking requires entering a vehicle registration at the meter; check the official event details before attending.
