REPORT A LISTING
Report a Listing
Tell us about a listing that is incorrect, misleading, unauthorised or unlawful.
When to report a listing
Please report a listing if the details are wrong or out of date, if the business has closed, if someone has listed a business without authority, if the content breaches our Listing Guidelines or Acceptable Use Policy, or if it appears unlawful.
If you own the business and want control of the listing, use Claim a Listing instead.
How to report
Use the Contact page and choose “Report a listing”, or email contact@cenlocal.au.
Please include:
- the business name and the address of the listing page;
- what is wrong, and the correct information if you know it;
- your connection to the business, if any;
- contact details we can reply to.
What happens next
We acknowledge reports and review each one. We may contact the business on its listed details, ask you for more information, correct or hide details, suspend the listing, or leave it unchanged if the report is not substantiated. Each decision is recorded in the listing's activity history.
We cannot resolve disputes between you and a business about goods or services supplied. Cenlocal is a directory and is not the provider of those goods or services. For a consumer complaint, contact the business first, then your state or territory consumer affairs office or the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
Urgent and legal matters
If content is unlawful, infringes your rights, or involves a safety risk, say so clearly in your report so we can prioritise it. Reports made dishonestly or to harm a competitor may themselves breach our Acceptable Use Policy.
Your privacy
We handle the information in your report in line with our Privacy Policy. We do not pass your contact details to a business without your agreement, unless we are required to by law.
