Brisbane River ferry services are affected by industrial action between Friday 25 and Wednesday 30 September 2026, according to Brisbane City Council.
Services are not stopped for the whole week. Instead, ferries are not running during specific notified periods.
Notified stoppage times
Council lists the following periods when no ferry services will operate:
- Friday 25 September: from 2pm until the last service at 12.38am
- Saturday 26 September: from the first service at 6am until the last service at 12.38am
- Monday 28 September: 8am–10am and 4pm–6pm
- Tuesday 29 September: 8am–10am and 3pm–5pm
- Wednesday 30 September: 7am–9am and 4pm–6pm
