Adelaide Central Market
Established in 1869 on Grote Street, the Market says it is the oldest continuously operating market in its current location in Australia, with more than 70 traders under one roof selling fresh produce, specialty goods and food.
Trading hours: Tuesday 7am–5.30pm, Wednesday and Thursday 9am–5.30pm, Friday 7am–9pm, Saturday 7am–3pm. Closed Sunday, Monday and public holidays.
Gouger Street
Right beside the Central Market, Gouger Street is known for its restaurants and eateries.
Rundle Mall
Rundle Mall is the city's main pedestrian shopping strip, with department stores, arcades and specialty shops.
North Adelaide, the East End and Hutt Street
