Consultation results on the Park Lands circuit redevelopment for MotoGP, and community programs running across the city.

A roundup of recent community information from the City of Adelaide.
Park Lands circuit consultation results
The South Australian Government plans to run the Australian MotoGP round on a revised Adelaide Park Lands circuit from 2027. The circuit redevelopment is led by the state government; the City of Adelaide does not control the project but ran its own community consultation to inform its feedback.
According to InDaily, 3,664 people responded to the council's survey, which closed on 16 September, with more than 80 per cent seeing the impacts as negative. The state government has announced an Adelaide Park Lands Nature Positive Package, reported at $15 million.
Status: Proposed — consultation has closed and the project is being planned. Details may change.
Community centre programs
The City's community centres — including the Box Factory, North Adelaide Community Centre and the Minor Works Building — run regular free and low-cost programs such as conversation classes, dance sessions, seated yoga and writing groups. Rooms can also be hired for community events.
Community grants
The City's Community Grants Program supports free and affordable community-led projects, with Arts and Culture and Community Impact streams.
