- Everlasting Kings Park Festival – WA wildflowers, workshops, guided walks and family activities at Kings Park, until 4 October.
- AWESOME Festival for Bright Young Things – children's arts festival in the Perth Cultural Centre and Yagan Square, 29 September to 3 October.
- Hatched National Graduate Show – PICA's 35th-year survey of emerging artists from art schools around Australia, until 4 October.
- OceanXplorers – a hands-on, family-focused ocean exhibition at WA Museum Boola Bardip, until 11 October.
Sport and community
- Perth Running Festival – Sunday 11 October, with 4 km, 10 km, half marathon and marathon distances through Burswood Park and along the Swan River, finishing inside Optus Stadium. The event supports Channel 7 Telethon.
- Telethon Weekend – Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October, including live shows at RAC Arena and the Telethon Family Festival in the Perth CBD on Sunday 18 October. Festival details are due to be announced closer to the date.
