Nearly 150 weekly bus trips added across Adelaide Hills routes
Published · Cenlocal summary
From 12 October, timetable changes add services on routes linking the Onkaparinga Valley, Crafers, Blackwood, Burnside and Adelaide.

Adelaide Metro’s timetable changes from 12 October 2026 added nearly 150 weekly bus services across the Adelaide Hills. The Department for Infrastructure and Transport announced the package on 2 October as part of changes to almost 70 timetables, responding to demand and community feedback.
Ten new services run between Verdun and Lobethal, with Route 834 scheduled hourly on weekdays and additional weekend trips introduced. Route 894 between Crafers and Blackwood gained 14 services, while Route 820 received another morning peak trip from Burnside towards the city.
The department says the changes redistribute resources towards higher-demand areas. They are now in effect, so passengers should use the current route timetable to plan a journey. The announcement does not mean every Hills route gained trips or guarantee a particular reduction in travel time.
